Hi Jaime, yes I am indeed a member of the Berlin Phil – have been playing horn with them now for over 23 years. Since 2002 I have been working for Venezuela’s Youth Music project (El Sistema), teaching and coaching both students and teachers. Everything you have heard is true but there is so much more. All of us, in every country and environment, can make a huge contribution. More – we must swallow our pride and admit that we have a lot to learn from a 3rd world country. Keep the faith!
